American Auction Co. Doll Auction August 1, 2015

Below is the Information for the American Auction Co. auction featuring dolls. This one is in Phoenix.

With their permission, I  am including  photos of some of the dolls that will be available.

Doll Auction:
Online bidding for the doll auction will start July 6th and the live simulcast auction will start on August 1st at 9am. Located in Ring 1.

Featuring antique and vintage European, American and Asian dolls

American Auction Co. has an impressive 20 year history, auctioning off goods of all typed, as evidenced by their timeline, reproduced here:

American Auction Company History Timeline:

1995Founder Deb Weidenhamer, a former merger and acquisitions analyst, opens Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers. Also, during this initial year, the first auction is held for private consignors at the company’s downtown Phoenix warehouse.
1996Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers is awarded its first municipal government multi-year auction agreement and contracts with several corporations for auction services.
1997Higher-end merchandise is offered online at eBay in a cooperative agreement with Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers. The company is also awarded its first state government multi-year auction contract.
1998In collaboration with BidPath Corporation in Seattle, a Microsoft preferred partner, Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers creates parameters for a simulcast auction software program, allowing live bidders and online bidders to competitively bid in real-time. The company also begins selling auction goods in Mexico, Peru, Brazil and Canada.
1999Kodak joins the collaboration on BidPath software. Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers also holds its first successful simulcast auction, creating sales in every country throughout North and South America, and is awarded its first multi-year U.S. government auction contract.
2000Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers relocates into a 30,000-square-foot facility in Southeast Phoenix and is also awarded its first multi-year Fortune 500 company auction services contract.
2001International sales of auction goods continue to grow, including sales into Europe and Asia, and the company forms a strategic alliance with a Canadian auction firm to service North American clients more seamlessly.
2002Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers is named the No. 1 fastest growing woman-owned company in the Inner Cities by Harvard Business School. In addition, an extra facility to handle surplus goods is added.
2003Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers is named an INC 500 Company, ranking no. 49 on the list of the fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S., while the number of registered online bidders reaches the 10,000 mark.
2004Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers provides auction services for more than 1,000 consignors, a first for the company, and also ranks the 100th fastest growing company on the INC. 500 list.
2005Deb Weidenhamer is named Small Business Person of the Year by the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. In addition, the company outgrows its two current locations and relocates to a 55,000-square-foot facility with an acre yard in Phoenix. Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers also hosts a concert and auction at Celebrity Theatre to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
2006Having gained industry-wide credibility, Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers is sought after by firms in California and Arizona to sell their consigned goods.
2007Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers’ private treaty auctions triple in revenue and the company is approved to conduct private treaty trade into China.
2008Outgrowing its warehouse, Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers moves to a 150,000-square-foot facility on four acres. The company also maintains its ranking on the INC 5000 list, recognizing its continuing growth.
2009Discovery Networks signs a four-year contract with Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers and several of its executives to film the first auction television docudrama series.
2010Filming for Auctioneer$ on TLC/Discovery begins with the show premiere in October, increasing live and Internet sales. At the same time, Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers seeks approval from the People’s Republic of China to form a Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise (WOFE) auction company.
2011Two additional entities are formed, including Auction Systems Select, LLC, a luxury real estate firm, and Auctioneers & Appraisers Academy, LLC, which offers education to new auctioneers and appraisers looking to grow their industry knowledge. Simultaneously, the Chinese government approves iPai, Ltd. as the first foreign auction firm in China. Soon after, iPai conducts three auctions in China, and Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers commissions the largest auction software project in history to offer streaming video of auctions, auction dashboards, no-delay simulcast bidding and referrals for all auction product available online worldwide.
2012Auction Systems and iPai introduce a program for U.S. companies looking to expand into China to offer “made in America” goods at auction and promote U.S. auctions to the Chinese public.
2013The Department of Treasury & U.S. Commercial Services requests Auction Systems Auctioneers & Appraisers to educate other U.S. small- and medium-sized enterprises on how to have a successful venture in China. The proprietary software is also completed and made available to buyers and sellers. Additionally, the company is named to the INC 500 list for the 10th consecutive year.
2014We are awarded a twenty-two State contract for auctions in the United States. In Seoul, Korea, we win the Asia Pacific Stevie Award (the International Awards Organization from the founders of the American Business Awards) as Best Consumer Business in Asia. In Paris, France, we win the International Stevie Award for Company of the Year and the People’s Choice for Best Consumer Business. For the 11th consecutive year, the company is named on the INC list.
2015We change our name to the American Auction Company to more reflect our international standing as a multinational auction firm.

This appears to be a very user friendly Auction Company, with great tips on using online auctions, as well as a blog and many places to contact them.  The auction catalog for the dolls will be online July 6th.  If the dolls sampled are any indication, this will be a great auction!
